Privacy Policy
RizQ is a professional network for drivers. This policy explains, in plain words, what RizQ collects, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. RizQ does not sell your information, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
1. What RizQ collects when you join
Your email address and password (the password is stored only as a protected hash), your verified phone number, your display name, home market and the kinds of driving you do, and your vehicle (year, make, model, type, color and, if you add it, the last 4 characters of the plate, and an outside and inside photo of it). If you choose to use My Wallet, the documents you add (for example a driver's licence, a permit or insurance); they are private to you.
2. What you record in RizQ
Only what you add: Work sessions, Journeys and their destination names, earnings, tips, tolls and other costs, mileage, your day's plans, flights you watch, Eyes reports and Places you add or confirm, Coverage jobs you post or accept, help requests, Safety Watch sessions, Emergency alerts, incident records, and messages you send to Support.
3. Location
RizQ uses your location only while you use a feature that needs it, and only after you allow it on your phone: to show driver stops near you, to attach a place to an Eyes report or a Place, to file a road report under the metro market where you are (the position picks the market and is not stored), to send your location with an Emergency alert or a Safety Watch to the people you chose, to match a help request with nearby drivers, and to share your location with Trusted Circle members you picked. RizQ does not track you in the background and does not keep a history of where you have been. You can stop sharing at any time.
4. Phone notifications
If you turn on phone notifications, RizQ stores a notification address for your device so it can send you Emergency alerts, Safety Watch check-ins, help-request updates, Coverage jobs, Work reminders, Support answers and RizQ Network Updates. You choose quiet hours and whether names appear on your lock screen. Turning notifications off or signing out removes the device.
5. Voice
RizQ Voice listens only while you tap the microphone. Your phone's or browser's speech service (from Apple, Google or your browser's maker) turns your words into text, and may process the audio under its own privacy policy. RizQ receives only the text and does not keep recordings.
6. Who can see your information
Your information is private to you unless a feature you use shares it. Members of your Trusted Circle see what you choose to share with them. A driver matched with you for help or Coverage sees what that match needs, including your name and, for Coverage, your phone number. If the driver whose Coverage job you accept asks to see a document and you choose to share it, that driver can open it only while the job is active. A document you upload for one job only is deleted when the job ends. The driver whose job you cover also sees your vehicle (year, make, model, color, type and any photos you added) while the job is active. Drivers alerted by your Emergency alert or a missed Safety Watch check-in see your name and location while the alert is on. Eyes reports and Place confirmations are shown to other drivers without your name. RizQ staff can open your information only to run and protect the service (for example to answer Support); every such look is recorded.
7. Services RizQ uses
RizQ is run on: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service (phone notifications in the RizQ app), your browser's push service (notifications on the web), AeroDataBox (flight status: only the flight number you watch is sent), Anthropic (an AI model that recognizes when road reports name the same road or place, sent only the place you typed, the kind of report and the market; and that answers simple support questions from RizQ's FAQ, sent only your message's category, subject and text — never your name or contact details. Questions about money, safety, accounts, legal matters or verification are always answered by a person), and Stripe (only if you choose to support RizQ: Stripe takes the payment on its own page; RizQ never sees your card and keeps only the amount, date and whether it is monthly). They process information only to provide their service to RizQ. Directions open in your maps app, under its own policy.
8. How long RizQ keeps information
Your information is kept while your account is open. Temporary information (for example locations shared during an alert or a match) ends when that alert or match ends. Phone notifications that were not sent are deleted within a day. Records of staff actions are kept for security.
9. Deleting your account
You can delete your account inside the app: Account → Delete account. Your personal information is deleted or anonymised right away and you are signed out everywhere. Emergency alerts you sent or received are kept without your name, for safety and legal reasons. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a short time before they are overwritten.
10. Your choices
You can allow or refuse location, microphone and notifications in your phone's settings at any time, set quiet hours, stop sharing with your Trusted Circle, edit your profile and vehicle, and download or delete your records where the app offers it.
11. Age
RizQ is for professional drivers aged 18 or older. It is not meant for children, and RizQ does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12. Security
Connections to RizQ are encrypted. Uploaded documents are kept in private storage that only RizQ's server can open, through short-lived links. Staff sign in with a second step (an authenticator code), and their actions are recorded.
13. Contact and changes
Questions or requests about your privacy: write to RizQ through Support in the app, or by email to support@rizqnetwork.com. If this policy changes in an important way, RizQ will tell you in the app and update the date above.
